Kidds Beach may refer either to the small Kidds Beach village or the beautiful beach of this name, located very close to East London in the Eastern Cape Province. Kidds beach is beautiful, and is a popular spot amongst keen surfers looking for warm water and a good wave.
The beach itself stretches for some eight kilometres, offering a vast expanse of warm, white sand on which to play, stroll, build sandcastles or sunbathe.
The Indian Ocean waters are temperate and comfortable, making this beach ideal for swimming (particularly for little ones). The river mouths at Kidds Beach are well-liked by anglers, yielding some excellent catches. There are also a number of rocky outcrops that are perfect for those wanting to cast a line and enjoy a relaxing day of fishing.
